Big, old empty houses... you can almost feel the memories of days past surrounding you. Old houses make noises individually unique to themselves. They seem more like living entities than mere structures.

I love the smell of leaves burning... don't have much of that here in Texas. I know what you mean by trying to make a pumpkin look fierce and getting goofy instead...
