Re: Ghost Adventures: Florida's Riddle House

I agree about that show. The first documentary made me a big fan. I liked the first season as well and made sure to never miss an episode. The more recent seasons have kind of made me lose a bit of interest. I don't think they try to fake anything, like Most Haunted does, but I think they try too ha...

Re: Haunt Yard display law?

I would assume that it would all come down to disturbing the peace, which seems to be a law that applies everywhere in the country. I don't think the cops roam the streets looking for decorations that might cause complaints or break any specific laws. I think that it all comes down to if your neighb...

I'm not opposed to bloody decorations or body parts, it is just the stuff that is over the top. I've never really seen any of the most gruesome decorations in person, I'm just aware of them from magazines and decoration websites. I understand that some people enjoy this kind of stuff and have every ...

THis is late to discussion but I wanted to weigh in on the to wolf movies. I know that American Werewolf in London was quite popular and was groundbreaking as far as special effects go in its day. The Paris version was entertaining for me, except for that I couldn't stand the special effects. The we...

I like the old fashioned mysterious kind of halloween feeling. More about the "who's there?" and "what was that noise?" kind of thing, if that makes sense. As far as decorations go, a cemetary, bats, coffins, pumpkins, monsters, etc. is what halloween should be about. I think the...

They just closed down the Rocky Point Haunted House in Salt Lake City, which is close to where I live. It was rated one of the best haunted houses in the nation. I always wanted to go, but just never made the time.....too bad.

I don't really care if older people come to my house trick or treating, but for me, trick or treating is more for the kids. I like to throw a party on Halloween night and try to spook the trick or treaters instead. My trick or treating days are over, until I have kids that is.

I've already made a bunch of purchases online. I started back in early July. We are going to be having a murder mystery party this year and we are going all out. We have bought a ton of decorations and effects and we will be having a great dinner as well. I have to admit tho, I went to Big Lots the ...

I've decided to start haunting the inside of my house rather than the outside. I decided its better to enjoy all of my hard work myself and for my guests at parties rather than the few people that pass by our street. Plus, I don't have to worry about decorations being stolen or destroyed.

I think that with most series, the first is usually the best. Mainly because the first is what spawns the interest in the rest. But, it is not always the case. I think the first Nightmare on Elm Street was pretty lame compared to the rest. That's just me. But in the Halloween series, I would have to...

I cycle through all of the old classics. It seems that one year I will be into Dracula and Vampires, and the next year its Frankenstein. I have always had a fascination with Zombies though. I always have these weird day dreams about looking out the window and seeing a bunch of walking dead coming to...

It's definitely changing here in Utah. There are a lot of stores with Halloween supplies popping up all over the place as well. I think it just depends on where you live. I went to Tampa Florida last week on a business trip, and I could NEVER live in Florida. Way too humid and I like that with where...
