Well, it's official; Halloween is it's own season. Interesting article about the current Halloween tourism trends and a few of the larger haunts around the country:

Re: scare tactics :)

Great show but it has changed since he took over. There are some great clips on YouTube and you can check out the show here: http://www.scifi.com/scaretactics/ If you can find it, check out the episode with the devil baby in the maternity ward. The thing comes running right "out" if you kn...

Re: When do you put out decorations?

My countdown clock http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo354/Fezzek/Halloween%20Stuff/097.jpg (fuzzy pic- sorry!) is already on my porch and the fall decor will start appearing in a week or two. The scary stuff comes out in the middle of the night around the 1st of October and has become a bit of a g...

Re: Halloween Horror Nights

Living so close to Orlando definitely has it's advantages. Site looks cool, and this should be a good one. The theme has allot of potential for messing with people. God knows "Mary" scared me enough as a kid! I love HHN but hate how you have to go through most of the houses like "catt...

Re: Haunt Parade?

Check out the Screamfest Zombie Walk some friends participated in. It took place in Orlando. This and some of the related info on their myspace links may give you some ideas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5gT10eTzdI Also, towards the end of the open event nights for Terror Lagoon we started doing ...

Re: Target

Still all school stuff at ours...since my wife is a teacher she's still in seventh heaven but that will change soon enough. If you go to the Target website they have several pages of items already up. Nice additions this year to their lineup but i still prefer to build or modify most of my own.

Re: how much halloween music do you have

Never thought about it until i saw this topic post so i checked....sad but true....only 253 "songs" and 17 custom set tracks from our work haunt. Oh, and by the way, thanks for verifying my O.C.D.; I never realized how bad it was until i reviewed my library of 2000+ TOTALLY ORGANIZED sound...

Re: it begins

The "Blow Molds" can actually work quite well with a little creative elbow grease, 1/2 inch pvc, and "snotrag mache" for texturing. Hours of messy fun I tell you, hours! Easy new project added to my to do list after finding a 50% off sale after dinner: suspended glowing orbs (sol...

Re: Haunting for 2008?

Keep your elves in red suits and little spring rabbits, it's Halloween all the way for me. Rather ambitious build out on my end but most projects are well underway: Several 2007 props are being decommissioned and parted out for new ones. Gone from the display this year will be the hanging cage, guil...

Re: it begins

I promised I wasn't going to start early this year (I always say that...) but for some reason Big Lot's already had some odds and ends on the shelf the 1st week of June. Needless to say the bug bit me and serious planning for new 08 projects started for me at the beginning of summer almost 2 & 1...
