I watched it right through. The character seemed to be less Dracula and more a vampire version of Nicholai Tesla. There was definitely room for more story, but it probably worked best as a mini-series.

We generally felt that the transition from elementary school to high school was a good cut-off point. So grade 8 would be the last year. It was considered too childish for high-schoolers.
