the polar express was a FANTASTIC christmas movie!! very well written in my own opinion.. the visuals were GREAT!!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I haven't seen Polar Express, but I'm looking forward to the new Jim Carrey.

I'm taking all of my grand nieces and nephews to the new "Christmas Carol" on the first Sunday of Advent.

As for Christmas in October, I don't mean to sound like Old Ebinezer before the spirits came, but BAH HUMBUG!!! Christmas belongs in DECEMBER. That's what TRADITION has called for for over 1000 years, and that's the month in which Christmas belongs. It does NOT belong in July, March, June, or October. DECEMBER. That's the proper TRADITION.
