I skimmed through your link. All this stuff is already familiar to me, and it is quite interesting. I love exploring the origins of all our holidays. Most thinking Christians understand that Easter, not Christmas, is the core holiday of the Christian tradition. Celebration of Christmas came along later and was greatly affected by pagan practices, as it was attempting to co-opt pagan holidays for the new faith.
