I B Howlin' Wolfman's Party Plannin'

I'm doing a party. I've been setting things up, in a single bedroom apartment, for just about a month now. Thus far, I'm working with the stuff I have on hand. Things I've collected. In a single bdrm apartment, you don't have a lot of storage. And next month, I'm buying some basic materials to put a few more things together.

But for now, (just to see how far I've gotten,) you can view my website. It's a site I share with a PC Video game, "Roller Coaster Tycoon. But the Halloween pages are in the top half of the navigation bar on the left.

THANKS NaturePixie!

Several projects HAVE been started, and I have to finish them. So there will be updates from time to time.

I'm going to try and get a different song for each page. But I don't want the novelty songs like Monster Mash or Purple People Eater to overtake the site. I might include those in the Audio Page, as a stream of several songs in one big file. Much the same as the audio player of Haunted Horror Sounds (it's an hour of sound effects!)

I'm also looking for more videos to link up with.

I discovered a MONSTER in my LIVING ROOM!

I can't have THIS ugly THING here for my party! People will run screaming before they down their first beer!

But I took care of the beast. Here's how I made an ugly couch into something more acceptable for the holiday party.

Most excellent, Howlin'. We used white sheets last year for the "haunted house" look...

You know? Somehow that "works for me. I'd just cover that back wall with Black Plasitc sheeting, and be done with it. Of course a few real carved punpkins would blow it away...

Black plasic seems to bust the barriers as far as the size of the room. Somehow, the mind thinks, "If there's nothing there, then it goes on forever."

I gotta pull off that effect in the bedroom here, in the apartment. A sort of "Limbo Look" if you will. "The Twighlight Zone". Honkin' good effect though.

That was the back porch...and the screened part WAS covered in black plastic. We do it every year to get a little more space for the party (small house). In our southern climate, October is usually mild enough that if we put up the plastic, we can just leave the kitchen door open and use the porch like another room. It heats up during the day, and holds it pretty well at night. Gives me one more "room" to decorate!!!

UGH! I SOOOO wish I had another room. Like a patio. I had one when I lived in another apartment. It wasn't a huge area, but it was somplace outside. Wish I could do SOMETHING here, outside, but they have their "rules".

It makes me want to pull my hair out.

All new Halloween Hack is tutorialed on my website. If you need an excuse to do the blackened cabinets hack,
this just might do it, because this is an option you may want to use with the blackened kitchen cabinet doors.

ENJOY!

Don't forget!
My signature at the bottom of my posts IS a link to my website. (It's a smilie that looks like a wolfman???)

I just didn't want a constant "ad" on every one of my posts, so I made it something a little less like an advertisement, and somewhat secretive.

Spider Door Knocker

Select a large Plastic Spider
Spray it gold, followed by
a light dusting with brown
to age and match the brass

Strip the paper off four twist ties
(for sealing bread bags,) Attatch
spider to door knocker by twisting
fine wire around four of the legs
and the hoor knocker hammer,
(that's the part that swings.)

Don't be surprised if you have more
