So you are wondering what to play? Don't waste your time making a Halloween mix, go out and buy Manneheim Steamroller's new Halloween Album. All your favorites re-done in the classic Mannheim fashion. I got a chance to hear it through my internship at UMGD and loved it. Go listen to some of it at

I'll be playing The Ghastly Ones' "A Haunting we will Go-Go" at our Halloween Party this year. By late spring I'm usually gearing up for October.

Hey, another jazz fan! Rock on.
Some good news if you like horror themed, retro, instrumental surf rock. The Ghastly Ones will have a new realease this August. If you've never listened to them, check out the website.
Speaking of horror rock I just picked up the Rob Zombie Past Present and Future CD and DVD for $9 at Wal-Mart, it's the edited version. That's pretty darned cheap for 19 songs and a DVD.

Well the CD is out and it's more of a greatest hits with the newest member on organ adding to the old songs, here's a link to the Ghastly Ones in case you're interested.

I visited the website, and I must agree with you. I'm running out to the stores on the 3rd. and finding Manneheim. It's just different enough, somewhat low key, and we can still have conversations without the usual boring songs.
Thanks for the tip!
