I have been:
A blue bunny rabbit
A clown
A princess a couple of times (what girl hasn't?)
A witch several times
A vampire
A killer baby doll
Cleopatra
A werewolf
Morticia Addams
Those are all the ones I can immediately remember...

I can't remember all my costumes, but my go-to has always been some variant of the witch. As a little girl, I went for the scary witch. As a young woman, the seductive witch. Now I'm back to scary witches again. I have also been a ghost and a ghoul. At one point I had a long, silvery dress, and I went as a grey lady, which I count as a ghost, but I have done the sheet-ghost, too.

Hey Murf, what did your ghoul costume look like?

I had this old Army blanket left over from God knows when, maybe even my father's stint in WWII. It was a weird greenish black color, and I draped myself in it. I put some sort of off-color make-up on my face, and I carried a wooden stake. Not sure why I wanted the stake. Maybe I thought I was going to kill vampires while I raided the graveyard! It was just generally spooky. Maybe I looked more like Igor than a ghoul!

No offense taken, Witchy

My least favorite costumes are the pretty, cutesy princesses (or anything that's not meant to be scary). I can't wait until my niece grows out of that gross phase and wants to go as a decaying zombie or something
