We probably could have gotten them from the library, you're right, though I often find that the library DVDs are damaged. Anyway, we have proceeded with others in that collection. First we watched Lugosi's Dracula, then one called Dracula's Daughter. I fell asleep on Son of Dracula, LOL.
No, we had never seen any of these movies. That's probably on me. My husband is five years younger than I am and was never into Halloween or scary movies until my enthusiasm (very gradually) sort of seeped over into him. He is actually the one who bought this collection.
We've had Nosferatu for ages, but neither of us had ever seen the Lugosi Dracula straight through, just clips here and there. From the clips I hadn't imagined it could be very good, but I was rather impressed with Lugosi when I saw it all the way through.
