It's playing on AMC as I write this. I just love Don Knotts! The Andy Griffith Show's haunted house episode is one the best!

How about the Happy Days Halloween episode from the first season? The one with the headless ghost.

Don't feel bad, Don Knotts is definately a specific generation or two.
The perfect storm of DK's ultra-paranoid acting and the fantastic music of Vic Mizzy make for some of the best screw-ball comedies ever.

If The Ghost And Mister Chicken sounds familiar he also did the theme to the Addams Family TV show amongst others.

I remember both Don Knots and the HappyDays Halloween episode from the first season, Richie dressed as a skeleton, right? Wow, I'm really dating myself.

If the Fonz met Drac I think I would remember, but then I don't remember much that happened last week let alone 30 years ago
