The first 3 Halloween movies to be sure.

That's a tough question, because there are so many different types. Do you prefer a Halloween comedy? Then maybe Hocus Pocus, or Nightmare before Christmas, or Ghostbusters, is your favorite. If you prefer scary movies, what scares you? Supernatural goings-on, like The Exorcist, or slasher movies, like Halloween? Do you like a romantic element? Maybe Sleepy Hollow?

I think it's almost impossible to name just one, although there are quite a few that I enjoy.

Yes, Trick or Treat should be on this list somewhere. I am uncertain whether it is scary or funny. To me, it is mostly funny. Dark comedy, for sure.

I would say-Any of the Halloween movies are good to throw in, even if theyre just background at a halloween party. halloween 1, 2 4 and H20 are probably the best of them IMO.

Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town, The Midnight hour and Ernest Scared Stupid are good comedy/family flicks set at Halloween!

Sleepy Hollow, The exorcist, The Thing, The Fog and Paranormal Activity are exceptional movies as well!!!
