Did anyone make it out to see The Raven?
I'm curious about this too. Every review I read on this movie said it sucked something awful so I decided not to see it this weekend. I would like to hear from a Pumpkinhead that's seen it though. Maybe it's one of those that's more fan-friendly than critic-friendly...

"...more fan-friendly than critic-friendly...". Sounds like every movie I happen to love.

I was disappointed in reviews for The Raven also. It definitely looked like something I might be very interested in. However, this past weekend was not a good one for going to movies in our house. Daughter's birthday, and an Eagle reception for my younger son.

Seems I never go to movies anymore. Unfortunately, I'm saving my movie money for, gasp!, The Avengers. I know, not a horror themed movie but I got to see it on the big screen. Heard this morning that it's already blown away the 'Hunger Games' debut and hasn't even opened in the States yet. Maybe I should go down to Old Mexico so I can see it today? Nah! Don't want to get beheaded.

Our family saw The Avengers on Saturday. It was very entertaining, we thought. I'd read a review that said it dragged in the first half, but we didn't think so.

Witchy, I think you and I have kids around the same age. Mine are 22, 18, and a newly-minted 15-yr-old. My older two are boys.

The 22-yr-old wasn't with us on Saturday. He had run down to the beach (FL) with friends!
