The official TRICK 'R TREAT thread. Film comes out 10/06/09!

Many of you may have heard of a little film called Trick 'R Treat, a horror anthology that takes place on Halloween. It has been called a masterpiece by just about everyone who was lucky enough to see it in special screenings. Because of Warner Brothers utter incompetance, the film has been sitting on the shelves for years, but today we received major news from the director at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors.
Trick 'R Treat will be arriving on DVD/Blu-Ray this October, and starting in June, the director and the cast will be touring around the world to show the film in theaters. This won't be the big theatrical release that this film deserves, but at least many people will be able to watch it for the first time in theaters.

This is the best news I've heard in weeks. They've been teasing us for two years now and it looks like it's finally gonna happen. For those of you who don't know much about this movie, watch the trailer and look at the pic in my signature. It's a still frame from the movie. Yeah, it looks cool eh? A guy told me he was there at Fangoria screening last October in Manhattan, NY. And, he stated that it was the best Halloween themed movie he had ever seen. And, a sexy actress Anna Paquin from True Blood was played in TRT movie!

Well, he said that the problem is that it will probably never get distributed. He knows you technically it may never be published. He's interested if anyone of you else saw it?

The writer/director hints an official release announcement is coming in June or July on his MySpace page.

I've seen previews and teasers for the past 2-years... I'm not a big horror genre fan, but I really wanted to see TRT. Yay!
