I know that "Hostel" has not so much story in it - but too graphic! Not good for kids! And, I really didn't really like the second part. Well, I believe the third part could be the worst movie ever! Perhaps? :?

The story, or lack thereof was only part of the problem. "Hostel" was a film of a whole new genre called 'torture porn.' It was basicaly extreme sexual sadism packaged in a film. It was by NO MEANS a horror film in any sense of the word. It was just sick minded guys torturing young women and young men to death for the sake of entertainment. It actualy bothered me because it harkened to the days of the Roman Arena where people, often innocent people were publicly tortured to death for the entertaiment fo the spectators. Last but by no means least, "Hostel" had some of THE WORST cinematography I've ever seen on the big screan. I wouldn't even call "Hostel" a movie it was so bad, and the sound track was also some of the worst junk ever to be released to a movie theatre.

Torture porn is NOT horror. It's horrorfying, but it's not horror film making, by any stretch of the imagination.

yea i didn't care to much for hostel either.. it was just kind of a pointless and extremely inappropriate really. why subject an audience to that kind of B.S.
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Ok, let's forget about SAW and HOSTEL subjects here....

How about HELLRAISER remake? Prequel?

The FunHouse remake?

Remakes and prequels are rarely any good or better then the originals The Day The Earth Stood Still Hannibal Rising anyone? Although Rob Zombie did do a excellent job with the Halloween remake or retelling as he called it

I know i keep beating this title down in other threads but i'd like to see RZ tackle Children of the Corn.. with his "Dirty" imagry and gore/violence, i bet he could make one h*** of a movie out of that one

I agree. I think "Children of the Corn" could have been done a lot better, and while I did enjoy the original, the cinematography was only so-so. "Hellraiser" never really did anything for me, but I saw it on the Sci Fi channel, and it was cut to pieces and there were tons of comercials, and I fell asleep after about the 29th comercial interuption.

I thought " The Day the Earth Stood Still" was a very timely and well told story. It really brought home all the problems of today, and retold that old story with a new twist. If we die off, the world is saved. If the world dies off, we all die off with it. How ironic and how true. The cinematography was also quite good.

Yes, yes! Children of the Corn is good classic movie!

I saw it when I was about 10 years old on t.v. and it freaked me out! And, as for "Children Of The Corn" remake would be good idea. What do you think?

like i said i think it would be a fantastic idea! i would like to see RZ dirty it up a bit... or a lot i might add.. more violence and gore... plus i love the way he works the camera! i think with his "raw" imagry he could really take that "country" scene and do some amazing things to it.... it'd be nice to sit down at a NC17 rating movie these days! i like things that tend to scrape the surface

I would like to see a modern day remake of "When Worlds Colide." That was a classic 'end of the world' story.

Ok, if just for an example that Rob Zombie is going to direct "Children Of The Corn" remake and I believe that would be so awesome because of more blood, guts and gore! Even, more nudity and sexual content! I'd love to go see it a must!

Well, it is all up to Rob Zombie's decision... but I would not like to pass out all of his information here such as his own email, website, phone numbers, etc. It is privacy-protection rights.

So all feedbacks will be collected by me, and I'll forward them all directly back to him.
