Hocus Pocus

Post by Jack Skellington » Fri Aug 19, 2011 3:33 pm

I was just wondering who on here watches this film every Halloween?

My wife & I watch it religiously every Year on the 31st Oct! Like me she also used to watch it as a kid every year too.

I hope this is one film that they don't remake! Bette Midler was awesome as Winnie!

I love this movie! Ironically, I watched it on tv in the hospital the day after my daughter was born. In March!

I am the odd man out on this one, I cant stand this movie, I have tried to watch it a few times and I just cant get through it, it is just too......too.....too....hoaky.......and I cant really stand Bette Midler at all....or Sara Jessica Parker for that matter.

I love Hocus Pocus, though I don't necessarily watch it on Halloween itself. It is most certainly in my October rotation. It is the best Halloween movie for kids (discounting a shorter cartoon like Great Pumpkin). I love the decorations and the humor of it.

I do understand why some would dislike both Bette Midler & Sarah Jessica Parker, but I am OK with them.

Count me in too...love Hocus Pocus and the feel of the movie and the location and background and the story. It's great for adults and kids. It's a great Halloween type movie the whole family can enjoy and get into.

It's something all of my kids thus far love to watch with me around Halloween.

I watched it twice a week ago. Once on TV and also the DVD.

It's one of the best looking Halloween movies.

We watch it and make sugar cookies. I have been doing that since I was a teenager.
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted- nevermore!

I luv the movie as well!! One year my daughter & her two friends dressed up like the Anderson sisters, they were too cute, my daughter has red hair & her friends had Blonde & burnette, they looked just like them, but cuter.
