Easy. The honor goes to Dark Harvest 2. I actually won a bad movie contest last year when I submitted this one

That's another tough call, but to me, it's a toss up between two titles. "The Howling," which was more an accidental comedy then a horror movie, and the very first "Paranormal Activity," which was a total & complete bore.

I liked the first even though the scarecrow costumes looked like they came from a drug store.

IMO I thought part 3 was the best. Bu there is a tone of crappy movies. Most recent was ATM, and the wicker tree. Some older ones are : Mr Halloween, any horror parodys like scary move, or anything that makes fun of the twighlight movies, even though they were lame.

My sister and I watch the first one every year for a laugh. You're right about the costumes--I remember the first time we watched it, I told my sister "okay I know I saw that scarecrow mask at Walgreens for like $3.99"
The second isn't even remotely related to the first one. It makes no sense whatsoever and if I remember correctly, there aren't even any scarecrows in it!

I'd have to go with Plan 9 from Outer Space, classically just horrible :p
Did you guys know Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are doing a re-imagining of Evil Dead? They've already selected cast for it

I don't just love Blair Witch, either, although I wouldn't say it's the worst scary movie ever. I think that last scene is pretty effective, and the whole idea of it is rather good. What I didn't like was all the four-letter words the college students were using. I know kids often talk that way, but I thought the dialogue went overboard with it, and that it was just plain lazy. At the time I had heard that there wasn't really a script, and that much of the dialogue was improvised. I thought that was more or less obvious. I haven't ever been able to watch it more than once or twice because of that. Don't get me wrong--I'm not really a prude about language. Heck, I wrote a dissertation years ago on 17th & 18th century verse satire, and that stuff can curl your toenails! But what bugged me was, as I said, the laziness of it.
