i personally prefer heath's joker... it portrayed near REAL insanity to me but to each his own
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: Ouija board
yeah, I agree with you, Heath did do a more realistic insane, and Jack was kind of comic book insane, but I still like Jack better

Re: Ouija board
My very first exposure to Bat Man was the Adam West tv series that came out in the 60s I was about 5 or 6 at the time, and my younger sister and I use to preted we were Bat Man ant Robin all the time. I also really dug that theme song. A little later, "The Green Hornit" debued, and for some reason, I liked that show even better. I thought the Black Beauty, while not as flashy as the batmobile, was a lot mroe leathal and more sophisticated then the batmobile.

The new Batman was really lame, it bored me to tears. The Batman with Jack Nicholson was really great! Soundtrack was awesome too!

Re: Ouija board
I agree. The 'Batman Begins' movie series is how how I remember Batman and Joker from the comics, at least when I read them. There was nothing comical about them. Very dark and sinister. I'll have to post 'The Long Halloween' if I ever get my proxy issues worked out.adrian wrote:i personally prefer heath's joker... it portrayed near REAL insanity to me but to each his own

Re: Ouija board
The Dark Knight and Batman Begins are by far the best Batman films ever made, that's just my opinion though.
Anyway, back on topic.
My friend lives in a 400 year old house and he and some of his closer friends (not including me) used an Ouija board in his home. He claims that they all made contact with a young girl who was killed in a traffic accident a long time ago. Apparantly everyone who used the Ouija board have seen her following them wherever they went.
He also says that he's seen ghosts and had some minor poltergeist experiences in his home since.
He does exaggurate sometimes but I do believe that Ouija boards can only mean trouble. I'm not highly religious, I do believe in God and Jesus, Heaven and Hell, but still, I would never ever touch a gateway to evil spirits and demons such as an Ouija board.
My Mum would never touch one either, she believes in spirits.
My Mum's friend has used one and she said the experience never leaves and it was one of the worst experiences she's had. She wouldn't go into detail.
Even thinking about it scares me...

Re: Ouija board
I am not a major source of knowledge when it comes to who the various actors are either, but I do know who Ada West was. Adam West was THE original Bat Man who played the starring role in the original 1965/66 tv series. It was based on the old comic strip of the same name, but was done more as a satire.
