I'm feeling behind too, Murf but I'm slowly catching up.

I still have a lingering cough from the bronchitis, but I'm definitely a lot better than I was.
I found my little Halloween village up in the attic, I'll be sure to display it when I get it set up.
I already had a few things out, but with the hurricane season going strong with lots of wind and rain (we weren't hit THAT hard by Helene but there was some flooding in some areas. It was enough to knock down some of my tree decorations that I did get out) I held off on my projector, blow ups and lights. From experience I found it's a good idea to wait on getting the graveyard out too, since these cheap flimsy things like to blow away into the neighbor's yard or all around our yard.
But I do have a nice big pumpkin from the store, and a few indoor things up.

Andy your decorations look great! I know it can be fun trying to dig things out of storage and remember where you put certain decorations.

As for fall foliage, leaves are starting to turn here as well. Usually mid-late October it'll look really vibrant. :) But I have seen some leaves turn as early as August or September.

Edit: Here's my little Halloween village.

The video wasn't playing last night, but it's working now. The decorations look great, and I don't know if you were using a filter on the video, or if that is just the natural atmosphere, but the video has a spooky dream effect that goes well with the decorations. By the way, excellent choice for the song.

Headless, the effect is 'delay' on low intensity with film roll intro and fade out zoom at the end.

I use Action Director Pro on my Android, and I'm old enough to be constantly amazed that stuff like this and more is possible, from a device that fits into my t-shirt pocket.

I typically choose music based on the video length (as well as subject) because it's easier than editing runtime to fit track length, at least it is for me.

Mau, love the village and what appears to be a corner cabinet to display it on.

Murf, I buy old pumpkin light strings whenever I see them in thrift stores, and all of my lamps are fitted with FEIT brand programmable light bulbs, and things like vintage lights are operated with Amazon wi-fi enabled plugs.

Yes, I like tech.

Love your Halloween village, Mau.

Andy, I can only wish I understood tech as well as you do. But, yes, cell phones are astonishing. My husband tells me that the devices we hold in our hands have more computing power than the ones NASA used to send men to the moon and back. .

The internet of things is fairly straightforward these days, not like 20 of 30 years ago.

All of these toys are plug-n-play and practically set themselves up and start working right away.

Of course when the robot uprising begins it probably means that I'll be first against the wall...
