I got these pictures in an e-mail of some sandcastle competition..couldn't even tell you where it was held, but I wanted to share them because they are SO FREAKIN' AMAZING....

I wish I had just a smidgen of that sort of artistict talent!

I have seen something similar when I have bee on holiday to the canaries in the past but not to quite that scale.

They're so awesome pics of the sand castle and stuff like that!!!

Wow they are amazing!! We had a sand castle sculpture compeititon here in Brighton last year which produced some awesome stuff, but that is some immense work right there!!

Me either. I don't know how they did make sandcastle. Maybe they had more artwork experience in the past. Well, I'm not good at making sand things myself!

Don't quote me on this. But I think they use Hairspray to keep the sand particles "stuck" together.

You have to appreciate that effort because the ocean reclaims the sand in no time.
