steak gets tender as it cooks slow, the slow cooking "melts" the connective tissue that makes meat chewy or tough, so I dont know how it could be cooked to "perfection" in seconds, but I'd like to try it just to see

I like my steak dead as a doornail; I want to make sure it's no longer mooing. Can't have even the tiniest bit of pink in there; mine has to be well done.
The closest thing I've had to liquor is liquor chocolates and liquor cake at Christmas.
I just realized the irony of calling the steak rare; when it's not rare at all for people to want it cooked like that. One of my bosses at work is the same way, she likes it bloody.
But me, I got to have mine cooked all the way through. I guess I feel grossed out if it's not cooked completely. I can't even blame it on being from New York because a lot of people to me seem to like it pink or bloody up there as well.
Oh well. I guess we'll have to make notes here, if we have a Halloween.com meet up some day and decide to do a BBQ, let's take note of how we want our steaks done.
To be honest I like my steak medium rare. I like to tell the waiter..."Wipe its butt and knock off its horns and serve it to me"....But the ball and chain has put a stop to that She says its not healthy to eat meat that is not cooked enough. These days the only time I can escape that edict is when we out at a really good restaurant that serves prime rib. Then I'm allowed to eat it medium rare. We don't eat out much btw!!
