Okay I hope to be able to talk this topic up with someone.
To start things off I have been playing World Of Warcraft for 5 months now and I enjoy it. My group of friends has a Horde Guild on the Rexxar server named Bringers Of The Dead and we have an Alliance Guild on the Draka server named House Of The Four Winds, with the vetting guild Shadow Freelancers.
But I was brought into W.O.W by my brother. I wanted to discover my own MMORPG. So first I purchased Vanguard. The system requirements list was not on the outside of the game box, but I brought it home and found that my computer didn't have enough muscle to handle the game. So I gave the game away. Should have done my homework on it, but I didn't.
Later I checked the specs on Final fantasy XI Online, found out that my computer can handle it. Brought it home and found that before you're even allowed to complete registration you have to enter a valid debit or <deleted>. I currently have neither. Duped again. Obviously i'm not research guy.
So back to the drawing board. I look up some info on MMORPG's and I decide to roll with one of the titles that originally took gamers to the dance. I bought EverQuest II. Can my computer handle it? Yes. Do I have to have a credit/debit card to complete registration? No. Does the world look huge? Oh it's big. My game came with the Kingdom of the sky expansion and there are three other EQ2 expansions I don't even have yet.
So this weekend starts my adventures in Norath, set to a time 500 years after the events of the first EverQuest.
