Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

It won't be long and summer will be here, it's almost May already!
Man! I can't believe the year is just flying by, and my first semester at college is almost over! Where has the time gone?
I know we all can't wait for Halloween to come but I don't want to rush and wish life away either!
It won't be long and I'll have been here a year. It's been quite a year so far. I'm almost 24...which means only 6 more years until I'm 30! Egads!
Does anyone else think this year is flying by?

I think it's because everything has been so chaotic this year. Between the new president, the economy, the mass shootings, the huge protests, massive drug war, the swine flu....We've squeezed years worth of headlines into 4 months. It's insane.

You may have a point there OctoberChill...for me a lot has happened within the past few months...I'm attending college...and actually doing great in school! My car's been locked away in the garage to be finished by my dad...I got my first lap top...amoung other things.
I've even had my first data entry job...although it only lasted two weeks. I have a feeling by 2010...it'll be as though it were gone in the blink of an eye...and as my grandma said the years just get faster and faster as you get older...to think when I was a kid the years didn't seem to go by so quickly...time seemed slower back then...

Yes, but all of this has the potential for a lot of original costume ideas!

Congrats RDM! Just a few more months and it'll be my anniversary. I joined in August lol. Just a couple months before Halloween.

Hello all. I am new here, But fully agree with the speed of time. Having a daughter has accelerated that more so. I have an idea why, when we only look forward to the weekend, we waste those other five days. With that said, I'm still looking forward to Halloween and dressing my daughter up!

Welcome to halloween.com! It's a nice little forum with friendly people who all share a common love of Halloween. I don't have kids myself but if I did, I bet dressing them up and getting them involved in the fun of Halloween would be great. I just wish I could get away with dressing up my cat, and I would if she wouldn't tear me a new one!
The year is just flying on by...it'll be Halloween before long. Although I think I'm going to enjoy summertime first, I'm really looking forward to summer this year.
