Have a great Super Sunday!
Hope your team wins.
I'm for the Jets and Eli Manning.
Eli is the son of former Saints QB Archie Manning. Being fron N O and being a Saints fan I will be pulling for Eli.

You meant you were for the Giants, I guess! LOL
I am from Mississippi originally. I was a teenager when Archie Manning was the athletic hero of the state up at Ole Miss. There was even a song on the radio about him. Decades later, after marriage and moving all over, my husband and I landed back in his home town in TN. At that time, Peyton was the athletic hero of the state at UT. For me it was truly deja-vu. I am a devoted fan of the whole Manning clan. They are all great people with deep Southern roots, even though the sons have made their professional careers outside the South.
That said, we didn't really watch the big game yesterday. We have this belief that we tend to jinx whatever team we are rooting for, so we just flipped the channels to check the score periodically. I am very happy for the way it turned out!

I'm not a football fan, but I kinda watched it for the commercials. I wasn't terribly impressed.

I didn't watch the Super Bowl yesterday. I watched the "Puppy Bowl" on "Animal Planet." It was the only programming on that wasn't either boring as all heck, or a rerun of something that I saw before.

We no longer have cable, so I have never seen the Puppy Bowl, but I've heard about it. Sounds adorable!

It is. I don't think I'm alone in saying that it doesn't get much better than a bunch of PUPPIES!! Who doesn't love puppies? And for me personally, the fatter the puppy, the better. I love puppies that are so fat that they grunt like little pigs when you hold them

They were all pretty cute, I couldn't pick out any single one that was cuter then the others. They had all different breeds there. The "half time" show was a bunch if very playful kittens, who really livend things up.
Tv has really gone to the DOGS. (narf n arf)....oh, and cats.

I think you guys should give us Drew Brees back. Not that Philip Rivers is bad but when Brees left San Diego it was like someone set him on fire.
Here's a couple of interesting comparisons from this year's Superbowl.
- Ferris Bueller's Day Off vs Mathew Broderick's Day Off...
- The dog from the Sketchers commercial and the touchdown by Ahmad Bradshaw...
