Hi gmuffb, Wicked Decorations! and my word you are one very talented seamstress, those gowns are Fantastic! Wish I had your gift I tell you. My wedding is going to be a Gothic/Victoria wedding and I'm going to have to have my gown custom made due to the colour I want & that's going to be rough as all the places I've found are either in the USA or UK.

Fantastic stuff, keep up the spirited work

Hey Witchy, Yes I'll be sure to post pictures, but we are kinda doing things backwards. We have our rings and a few others things, but it will take us some time to be sure we have enough money saved so for that reason we haven't set a date yet, plus the whole issue of the dress, that's going to be the hardest part as I know it will have to be custom made and well it's going to take some time to work around that issue among others we have going on in our life, but sooner or later, I'm hoping for late next year, we'll see. We've only been together 13 years already, lol.
I will really be looking forward to seeing pictures from you wedding, best wishes

witchy- Thank you so much!! I think I'm too addicted to making props to stop. I think I'll end up doing it all year round. Sounds like a good deal with your friend though, hosting a party is alot of work. It's probably nice to have every other year off.

Dutchess- Thank you. Wicked is good!! Sounds like your wedding is going to be awesome. I'm getting better at sewing. I started 8 years ago and I am self taught. I'd be willing to make your dress for you for the price of materials and shipping. But if I did that you'd have to understand that I'm not a professional and the dress would either turn out beautiful or crappy. I never know. I'll never stop though, it's way too fun!!!

Rckymtn- Thank you. I used coat hangers, duck tape, batting and papier mache. If you need detailed instructions just let me know. Since I had all of the materials on hand it only costed me $2.50 for the orange lights and $1.00 for the skulls. I LOVE frugal projects:)

One more big thank you to everyone. The compliments make me feel so warm and squishy inside:-)

Hey gmuffb, what a sweetheart you are, we must talk more about this. I have lots of pictures from other sites but of course there are always things you want a bit different then how they have it, and to get the colour I want will be something else, thank-you thank-you, you just never know, you may end doing it yet, lol. You do fantastic work, I'll have to send you a link to a few sites that have dresses I love, many blessings for the offer.

Dutchess, that sounds like an amazing wedding plan! Same with Witchy. I loved weddings that aren't the typical white and flowery.

Here's a little something I threw together yesterday.

I went to Michaels to help pick out a few centerpieces for a coworkers association dinner and all of the Fall items are 40-60% off!!!!

I bought three different styles of the little pail in the photos, an urn with Fall picks in it, black & orange tapers for the dining room, a striped glass candle plate and 2 pumpkin scented pillar candle all for $21.00!!!

I can't wait for the after holiday sale!

Thank you DOD!

It's hard to tell but the desktop is glass over dark wood and the glass is supported by those little silicone dots so in the space between I have put artificial Fall leaves.

Later on those will be switched out for old winter postcards.

Fast-forward to summer, 2009 :)

I went to Michael's at lunch today and they have the Lemax out and the Fall floral stuff and some of your basic Autumn wall hangings etc.

On a lonely shelf with pirate party items I zeroed in on this baby!!

If you can get to a Michaels I suggest you go soon because I don't think that they have more thasn 1 of these per location.

Maybe I could do a disco version of Hamlet?? The one has a penny in it's eye socket to show scale.

I also picked up a set of Lemax grave markers...'cause they're cute, and a metallic garland for the office...if I could only put it up now, darn it!
