Oh I like the haunted village! I enjoy the imagination and creativity that goes into it. I like to imagine an actual village like this, with a spooky vibe.
I do have my own little spooky village but it's much smaller. I'll have to see if I can find it when I get the Halloween stuff out.
I actually do have a few things out already, but I'm just getting started.
I agree that Spirit is pricy, but it's always fun looking around in there. I always come out with something though somehow.
Even if it's just a little trinket. But last year I wanted a really good witch hat, and that's what I got.
I also got a Sonic bag for our Sonic collection.
I couldn't believe they had that at a Spirit Halloween store, but considering the popularity of Sonic since the movies started coming out dressing up as Sonic might be a more popular costume choice.
I suppose if you wanted to be creative, you could always have a go at making your own. But that would require a lot of time and work.
As for the candy thing, I might sneak a couple peanut butter cups. And I'm allowing for a "once a week" treat where I take a break from my diet. Life's too short without chocolate cake and pizza!
I agree with Murf though. If you see something you really want, you need to nab it immediately. But if it's something you kind of want and are willing to wait and see if it's still there, then it's worth the risk.
I found some things at Dollar Tree recently. And my boyfriend got me a couple things at Walmart and Dollar general.
