I miss Halloween, but XMAS is OK!

Yes, I surely do miss Halloween, all of the candy and spookys - but XMAS is okay because of all presents and happiness.

I like Christmas too, it has its own special and magical atmosphere.

You can watch monster movies on Christmas too, that works just fine.

I miss Halloween but I'm in a good spooky mood now anyway. It's chilly outside, maybe we can throw another ghoul on the fire!

Oh Wolfie! I'm flattered.... but uh....

Just what would I be expected to do with your hairly little self?
You know I have a propensity for burying mates at sea.

Hmm... I will be needing some good fertilizer for next years crop of pumpkins.

I miss Halloween but Christmas can have it's own haunted charm as well. I love watching A Christmas Carol. The ghost of Jacob Marley is soooo spooky!!! Of course, Im referring to the George C. Scott make of the story! He's the best Scrooge EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, I LOVE that version but I've got one bone to pick with it... Nothing against George. I think he was sone of the best actors ever, but as Scrooge?

Scrooge was gaunt and frail. The reason being, he only spent enough money on food to sustain himelf. A perfect example of this was brought to light in the first Alistair Sim version where Scrooge was in the pub and he wanted more bread. He was told it would cost more and Scrooge belted out, NO MORE BREAD!

George C. Scott was great but he was no Scrooge. Other than that, that particular version of A Christmas Carol is my second favorite.

Hey, Wolfie... Good to see you around!
I'll have to go back and watch that one again. I remember being very unimpressed with it, but I can't remember why.
That should be a thread I start on Santa.com: 'Critiquing A Christmas Carol'.

I'll watch it again.

i have to say that i disagree with you oej. I know! I can't believe that im saying it either...lol. i think that Scott did a remarkable job and showing the grumpy ol pain-in-the-arse that scrooge was meant to be. i don't recall the version your talking about. I'll have to queue it up on netflix and take a gander at it! Not a big fan of the Patrick Stewart one. I just can't seem to disassociate him with Captain Pickard! haha! Everything I see him in, even X-Men, I ALWAYS think of Captain Pickard!
