I always view the first day of Autumn/Fall as the beginning of my offical countdown to halloween, for nights are now longer than the Days :D I think this picture is just beautiful and gets me in the mood of Autumn/Fall

Yes, when Fall is oficially here, it means that Halloween id getting closer and closer. It's too bad that some "illustrius" government official decided it would be a great idea to extend Daylight Savings Time until November. I sort of liked it when it got dark early on Halloween night.

Another UNWANTED CHANGE in the name of safety.

WHOO HOOO!!!! FALL!!!

(Sorry, I just had to scream out my excitement!)
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Surprisingly enough it's felt like Fall these last few days here in Dallas. At least in the mornings. It got into the 50's a couple days ago. I hope it stays this way. An early Fall would be welcomed. It's my favorite season. I'm sure it's the same for you guys.

The temps here are still in the 90's during the day and in the 70's during the night, it's a little bit of a break from the triple digits. This weekend is supposed to be 99 degrees-OUCH! I hope this heat will end soon because I'm very tired of sweating!

Well, it was the first day of fall, and it was already raining here in VA. I was really hoping for one of those "indian summers" that last thru October. Usually when the first day of fall begins, that's the time I start bringing down all my decorations and begin going through everything to see what I want to put out this year. One of the great things that happens in the fall, is going out to the local farmers and checking out the pumpkin patches. ;)
