CLOWNS ARE SCARY!

I'm often asked why I put clowns in my attractions.

Maybe this photos of me, taken in 1978, will shed some light on the issue...

BTW, I'm the kid, not the clown.

Many people are afraid of clowns. I hear Johnny Depp is just terrified of them. My aunt had a spooky collection when I was a kid and I hated being alone in that room with them, especially after seeing "Poltergeist". The movie "Killer Clowns From Outer Space" may be a bit dumb, but that's how I feel about clowns.....pure evil. :D

I wouldn't say I have a fear of clowns lets just say I am ....wary of them....when I was a chld I had a clown doll that was given to me by my aunt. It had a switch on the back and when it was on you could clap or make a loud noise and the clown would walk and move its arms. Late one night at about 2 a.m. I was sound asleep in my bed and on the shelf next to me was my clown doll with its switch in the off position. A sound woke me up and I looked around nothing looked out of place and and I laid back down and closed my eyes. No sooner had I done that when I heard another noise I opened my eyes and the clown doll was rocking back and forth on the edge of the shelf nearly ready to fall, its eyes seemed to leer as it rocked closer to me and then away. I couldnt move scream or anything I watched it sway until it stopped right there on the edge and I watched it in mute horror for I dont know how long, I was to afraid to take my eyes off it. Then after what I will guage as 10 min or so The doll again moved of its own accord and plunged down off the edge of the shelf onto my bed. At this point I bolted from the bed into my mothers room. ..... You know I dont know what happened to the doll after that I know I wouldnt even stay in the same room with it..... Perhaps its still out there somewhere......watching......waiting........walking with the switch clearly on OFF.
True story by the way.....

That would freak me out Spookyboo!

I think it is no surprise that serial killer John Wayne Gacy loved to dress as a clown for kid parties and paint pictures of himself in clown makeup.

Clowns are just creepy...

Killer Clowns came out in 1988. VEry over the top and awful, yet oddly irresistible.

Yeah, that's right! It was made in 1988, at first, I thought it was 1985. So, also psycho clown from the movie made by Stephen King's "IT". Have you seen it?

Oh Pennywise! "IT" the book was scary, but seeing that clown on tv freaked me out. My boyfriend still has nightmares about him.

Hey, Tantraman! I have never forgotten about the clown dolls because about more than 15 years ago, I've seen them (clown dolls collection) somewhere at the antique shop, so I don't wanna talk about that s**t! They freaked me out!! Very scary and they're evil-looking dolls!! I believe they were made in around 1950s!

The book is waaaaay better, but the clown was spooky. I'd watch it if you've read the book. On a sad not though, the little boy in the movie Jonothan Brandis, hanged himself a few years ago at his apartment.

No one really knows. I guess he and his friends came back to his place and he left the room. About 15 minutes later they found him. He had been a budding child star but was having a hard time finding serious roles. Some think he was depressed about that and other things. You can check out imdb.com for more info.
