DRIVER'S LICENSE

Post by Hallow's Queen » Fri Jul 23, 2010 10:23 pm

Long time no spook, sorry guys!

Life has been much more chill since the summer started, and I was going through my favorites and realized, "WOW WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I POSTED SOMETHING ON HERE?"

Well anyway, this Sunday I'm supposed to be getting my license :)

Anyone have any halloween hotspots I should go visit this year, since I can finally drive there?

Oh my, with a fresh license, anywhere you go is going to be exciting, for other drivers. :P
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Congratulations on getting your driver's license ... my daughter has her permit right now. She's not too bad.

I would suggest for your first road trip, some place very close to home. Perhaps a haunted attraction within 20 or 30 miles of where you live, given your experience level.

Enjoy it! There's nothing like the freedom of finally getting your driver's license. As pumpkinman suggested, i would stick to somewhere relatively close since your not too experienced and then move up from there.

I've been driving cars since 1976, and motorcycles since 1991. 34 years driving cars, and 19 years on the motorcycle. No wonder my back side is so sore....narf narf....

My first time was driving my grandpa's car in 1989 when I was 14. Yes, that's true and I had no drivers licenese. I managed to sneak out with my friend and took my grandpa's car keys at night when my grandpa and grandma were in bed. We went out meeting friends for drinking and chatting. I came home about 3 am in the morning and my grandpa was outside waiting on me! Yes, he was very mad at me.

Anyway, I got a drivers licenese when I was 17 years old.

I remember those days quite well. Morticia, I had my drivers license since 1975. That's old.

iHaunt, I did exactly the same thing, only I was 15 and had a learners permit, but no license. A group of buddies and I snuck out at midnight in my dad's 1970 Mercury Monerey, and when I got home around 2:30 am or so, my dad was waiting for me.

Needless to say, that didn't go over very well.
