well........the way I see it was this.......

I joined that forum and all I saw was cutesy halloween stuff, and I asked what people most liked, realistic or cutesy and they mostly said realistic, but I didnt see it and when pushed for examples I highlighted about 3 projects on the props forum as cutesy (they didnt like that).

I also asked someone on their electric chair thread why they put skulls on the chair because it wasnt realistic to do that. I also told a few people their Michael Myers animated prop looked "wrong", and that it wasnt a very good representation of the RZ MM. I was much nicer when I said all this then I am explaining but apparently all they wanted was "wow that looks great!" and not "why did you do it that way?"....so as far as the people on that forum, I dont really gel with them, but they have a good props forum with some good ideas.

oh, and their site is sponsored by Spirit so I am guessing the MM remarks wasnt well recieved because it's a Spirit product

well, thats how I see it, the moderator might see it differently.

If this is the same Spirit endorsed site I'm thinking of then you're better off being banned. This particular site prides itself on it's friendliness and at the same time bashes other similarly themed message boards and ignores you if you're not in the "clique". Lame if you ask me. I like my Halloween drama free.

I was actually pretty nice in the way I said it, but I was direct....oh well....no big deal.....I'm back on there and pretty much just plan to read, I dont plan on commenting or "contributing" at all......kind of a keep my mouth shut and suck at their teet for information.....

man... well at least on here constructive critisism is welcomed... i guess.. i haven't recieved any for my poems yet but i'm sure i'll take it in stride lol and so far i dig EVERYONE'S projects... and really... you guys and gals are too cool for me to be a "Richard" to you know?

oh well.. yea you're better over here. i believe this forum has a better 'family' anyway.. from the other forums i read on.... they kinda.... suck

well, I feel more comfortable chatting it up here with you guys. I was also told that a lot of members complained about my posts......oh well. Like I said, I wont bother them with posting, I'll just read their more interesting how to's and props projects and leave it at that.

Adrian, I'm sure if I told you that a word you used in one of your poems didnt fit too well, you wouldnt freak out and complain, so yeah, the people here seem to be more tolerant of comments.

yea the people here are really friendly and it seems we all do pretty well at keeping egos at bay and not making others feel offended or stupid (with the exception of some of my "count to 666" posts lol dang fire pit)

I'll never understand how people can get so bent out of shape about things they read on the internet. It's not exactly like they're a captive audience. If they don't like what they read, couldn't they just turn of their computer, or skip over your posts if they don't like them? Did somebody have them in a Clockwork Orange chair with their eyelids pulled open and their heads clamped in place?
