Things haven't been too bad here in the cornfield. More shake ups at work, but I'm still employed thankfully. The overtime is over. I miss the extra money but it's nice to have more time. I'm hoping to be around more, though. Getting the Halloween bug.

I'm still here. I know I haven't posted for a long time, but I'm back now. Although I've been busy for far too long, I still found time to post here and there. currently, I'm trying to make up for lost time. Better late than never I always say. It's good to be back though.

Helllloooooo everyone!!
We are SOOOOO far behind for Halloween...I'm doing my yearly semi panic. We have barely started building, and I have just started on my first prop..(which, by the way, is Medusa...which was suggested here first!!! Thank you!)
Life gets in the way of the fun stuff way too often.
It's been 100 degrees plus for quite a while now here in AZ and we are all dragged out. As we get older, the heat seems to affect us more than it used to. It's funny how it seems that there are not enough hours in the day sometimes.
But, on the flip side..we spend a whole lot of time goofing off (and having fun), so, oh well.
We have changed the design of the Roman background into something more do-able...more like Roman pillars as opposed the entire coliseum!! lol

Good to hear you all are making plans, even if the heat is oppressive! Here in TN, we can empathize. Temps in the 90s, but humidity is killer.

Has anybody heard from Kolchak lately? I worry about him during all these instances of violence directed against police.

I hadn't thought about that, until now.

Hey there folks... Sorry I've been away so long. Quick recap. I started and ended a new job and an unemployed again...sigh. the kiddos range up much of my time (3 & 1 years old now). My younger daughter now is on seizure control medicine just like her sister. We are trying to take the older one off so we're holding out breath on that. I am trying to find a job but can't seem to find something that fits me. So it will probably be another low budget Halloween this year. I'm going to try to be around here more this year though. I miss you all and hope you're doing well!

Thanks Murf things have to turn around soon. I haven't held a good steady job since August 2013. Things haven't been all bad though I didn't mean to come off so negative. My girls other than the seizures are amazing. Actually we went to someone's house and even they answered the door she said Trick or Treat! A little early but I appreciate her enthusiasm. Good luck in your search as well.
