Big_Guh moving is a time consuming process. I'm sure your new haunt will be festive and then you'll have a whole year to plan next years!

You're right, moving is VERY time consuming. One of those deals where from the outside looking in it doesn't seem like a big deal, but then you start the process and everything requires more attention that you originally thought. To make matters worse, it won't only cut into my Halloween time, but also my football watching time...

Well get your entertainment center set up first then you can have it playing while unpacking other things. Or perhaps one of your neighbors has unprotected wifi you can borrow to stream the games. Who do you root for?

We're going to be buying PVC and spray paint this weekend. Going to make 2 life size frames for a Pinhead costume and a Michael Myers costume and start in on expanding the cemetery fencing.
Be afraid....be very afraid!

Good thinking. When I'm desperate enough, I usually come up with something.

I'm a die-hard fan of the University of Virginia athletics programs and the Washington Redskins. Hopefully, my Orioles will also remain relevant into September and October...its been a long time coming on that front...

Sounds like there is some major potential there. This goes without saying, but pictures of the finished products are a must!

Morticia....just a thought I wanted to share...we have made the people frames from pvc for a while now...If you can buy any of those foam pool floaty things ( I think they were called snakes?) you should be able to get them pretty cheap as it is the end of the swimming season) amd you can use that to wrap the pvc for the shoulders, legs etc. It works really well.

I got part of my costume in the mail. I'd post pictures right now but on my iPod it's just too much trouble. Coming soon once again!

Ah, pool noodles would be very useful. The industriousness of the folks on this board never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for the tip.

The robe for my costume just came in.

Here I am in the robe and the hat that came in yesterday.

The robe is a priest robe I'm wearing backwards with the collar folded down. The hat came with a beard but I want to use my real one even if it means less accuracy because of the size.

Good looking costume, man. Please excuse my ignorance, but specifically, what or who are you planning on embodying? I see lots of possibilities with what you've got there.

Nostradamus, the guy who people claim predicted world events and eventually, the end of the world. The costume is my homage to 2012.

Nice! Now that you've reminded me, I do remember you mentioning that in another thread. Good start to the costume.
