Halloween is but 7 days away. Are you prepared?

Pretty much. My yard haunt is up, and my interior decorations on on display. I still have to decide exactly how I want to costume, though I have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do. And of course I will have to buy some candy close on to the day, because we keep eating whatever I have bought to date!

Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is in the DVR, Candy is bought, and the pumpkins are sitting eagerly awaiting their carvings!

I'm pretty read too, I just need to buy some pumpkins and carve them this weekend. My youngest (She's 18) is having a small Halloween party on Halloween, it should be fun, I can't wait!!

That's an excellent question! I'd be happy to help you with that today!
Oh wait...I thought this was Verizon Wireless all over again...lol
On a serious note, I'm not sure if I'm ready ready, I'm never quite 100% ready, there's always something I feel like I should add to my decorations or tweak somewhere...but I did get some candy and plan to make little gift packages for the kids next door. They might be my only trick or treaters, and I might get the same one I got last year too.

I'm ready.
Been very busy, so I'm trying my best to enjoy it.
Got three little girls at home, so already been to a couple of Halloween parties. Trying to really make it a great night on Friday. Got the yard ready and hoping to throw a little spook into the night as well as fun.

I've gotten all the decorating done, still need to carve up some pumpkins, clean for my party and order the sub tray. Busy, busy. But man I love it.

I"m still searching for my Mexican shawl. I want to costume for Day of the Dead. I have had this shawl since I made a trip to Mexico as a teenager, but I need to find where I hid it from myself. . . .

I got the candy and some decorations out. I didn't get everything out this year since I've been so busy. But I'll probably do something bigger next year.

My yard haunt is not nearly as elaborate as many, but I do tweak it each year. This year I added one display and some sound effects.

I decorated the front porch, but that's about it for a "yard haunt" this year.
Next year I'll probably do something more "elaborate." Keeping it simple since it's our first year in the new house after all.

Building it up over time is part of the fun!
