As excited as I am for the upcoming Holidays, is anyone else feeling a bit down about the passing of Halloween? It went by in a flash for me and as I watched my neighbor take down is HUGE display, I got sad. Oh well, at least the Halloween Hangover is nothing compared to the Holiday Hangover I get in Jan.

Best thing about the day after Halloween is it gives you the maximum amount of time to prepare for next. I'm not ready to let go anyways. I may go see 'Book of Life' later then go back to check out the DdlM celebrations tonight since none of my pictures from last night turned out.

We bought a bunch of discounted decorations yesterday. My husband has started to get into it, too. I guess he has finally caught my enthusiasm for Halloween!
We are still lighting our decor tonight, since we decided to celebrate "Hallowmas"--a three-day affair. I'll take it down on the 3rd.

I'm in the hills for the weekend so the outdoors really helped ease the post-Halloween malaise, and transition into Thanksgiving.

OH how beautiful.
I was able to score some awesome discounted décor yesterday, so that helped ease my pain.

I took Wednesday through Friday off from work last week to celebrate so my hangover was rough. Seemed to go by quickly this year for some reason.
