Good morning, everyone! September is here!
Even though it still feels like summer outside, I will hold-off on the pumpkin spice no longer.

Indeed, I think we can announce that fall has arrived, at least, informally!

I'm just perplexed at where the time went.

22 days after today...it's time to break out the decorations!

Mine go up this weekend well, the rest of them anyway.

I already changed out my Fourth of July owl for my Halloween owl on my entrance door.

The first day of fall seems like a good day since it is not only the advent of the autumn season; but waiting for it builds more suspense. ^^ If I start decorating now it'll take the excitement and build up away. So I have something to look forward to in the future. :)

That makes sense.

Actually, I have two door decorations, my Halloween owl and my Day of the Dead cat. I will enjoy my owl throughout September, then change to my cat in October. :)

Oh cute! What does your Day of the Dead cat look like? I'd like to see. :)

I just got a smart phone last week, my first one, and am so stupid with it that it took me four or five days to figure out how to answer it! So I am not going to be quick about posting pictures, LOL. However, the DotD cat is basically a skeletal cat (black on white background) with flowers for eyes, IIRC. It is wooden and jointed, jiggles on the door when I open and close it. I haven't looked at it since last year, so I am describing from memory, may not be quite right.
