September 23rd is the first official day of Fall. Does anybody have anything fun or special planned to celebrate?

What day of the week is that? If it's in the mid-week, and I think it is, I won't have leisure to celebrate the equinox. However, I probably will start decorating full-on once fall has officially arrived.

A local garden nursery puts on a Fall Festival around the Equinox. I'll be going to that this weekend. I'll also start Halloween decorating in earnest then as well. Got a few pieces out, but I'll be breaking out most of it then.

Happy Autumn everyone! We got a kick start on bringing out the Halloween decor, but we didn't get everything out yet. We got our grave yard out and some pumpkin lights. The pumpkins we already had out on the steps for a while.
These are some things our old land lord left us in the basement that we didn't get out last year:
I thought hanging the pumpkin lights on the flag pole would look cool, and my boyfriend had this cool idea of having them hang loosely to make it look like pumpkin vines.
And here's a couple dollar store items for a buck:
and our pumpkins! I also found a blow up black cat that hadn't been opened, so I included that as well:

You all are really getting into the spirit!
I'm having some trouble finding all my stuff. Last December, the condo where we store things flooded, and I had to move everything out of it for a few months, then back in again. I know my decorations are fine, but I am not sure where I put all of them!

I could hardly contain my excitement Murf.
I love this time of year.
We plan to get more out as we go, this is just the start. ^^
I hope you find your stuff Murf! I'm glad it didn't get ruined. I think most of our stuff is in the attic, but there's a few things down stairs and in the basement that I got out. The blow ups are in the basement though, but most of the indoor decor is in the attic.

I found the rest of my stuff this afternoon! It had gotten stored with some Easter stuff. I knew I didn't have that many boxes for Easter, LOL!

I brought all of my Halloween decor up from the storage room last night. It took several trips so that is all I did then. Tonight, I started to put it up. For some reason, my foot started hurting today. Probably from my my workout. I will hang the lights tomorrow night probably.

Thank you! Yes they are from the garden. ^^
That is awesome Murf! Glad you were able to find them.
Sounds like you had quite a job Boogeyman!
We're sort of getting stuff out little by little. We got more lights out tonight and a few more outdoor decorations, and put some of the mini pumpkins out there on display.

Happy fall everyone! It has definitely cooled down here and feeling like my favorite season.
Watch where you walk. It won't be long before Michael will make his way back home!
