Hello Everyone!

Well I love so many things about Halloween. Just a few are; The spirit in the night air during Halloween, it's such an energizing feeling. The fall colours are so beautiful. All the homes that decorate their yards.
Favorite Halloween Activity: Decorating my garden, front yard and interior of my home, which most of it thats in the garden, my "gothic/Halloween garden" stays year round.
Favorite Halloween Candy: Halloween Baked Soft Cookies & Pumpkin carving
favorite Halloween Costume: Classy Vampire, Classy Witch, Gothic Queen slayer
Halloween music, decor, the time of the year when I can finally find decor items for my home. Evening walks in the cool crisp aire among the thousands of leaves on the ground.

Ok well, I could go on forever. I pretty much live in the Halloween spirit year round.

Looking forward to meeting many like minded spirits here.
From British Columbia Canada

Welcome, Dutchess...I love your avatar. Greetings from the great Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. If you love Halloween, this is the place to be! Great bunch of folks, we have a lot of fun sharing all our Halloween enthusiasm!! It is just wonderful to be able to rant and rave about all things pertaining to Oct 31st, and not feel like you're boring the friends and family to death  . Anyway, welcome, and I look forward to your postings. :D

Thanks MHooch! I really like yours also. Yes, I'm really looking forward to being able to interact with like minded folk as there's not a lot around my neck of the woods. How long have you been a member of Halloween.com? this is my first time ever on any kind of forum so bear with me if it takes me a bit to catch on about how this all works. Look forward to conversing with you.

I joined last August, and have had a ball here ever since, especially in the weeks preceding the BIG DAY  The excitement was palpable! Gotta love the little "bats" around your signature, very cool 8) What are you doin' up this time of night? I am a nurse and work all kinds of crazy hours, that's my excuse  .

Well, it's only 1:44am and this is early for me. I have a rare sleeping disorder so I'm use to not going to bed until around 6am. However, I have been working really hard on improving it and have been going to bed no later then this time. So your a nurse, lol, I spend a lot of my time around nurses. You see I have been quite ill now for a number of years and unable to work since 2005. what kind of Nurse are you Hooch? like an ER nurse, ward nurse? good profession. There is a severe nursing shortage out this way and GP's as well. Thanks for the bat comment, I love them, even have them on our front windows for everyone to see, and our front porch bench says "Welcome to Our Cave"

Ya this site is awesome! It's great to have somewhere to go to talk to others about Halloween all year long instead of just from mid September to October 31st. I love to talk about ideas and pass them around, talk about what each person likes best about it and how they celebrate it. I've heard that Halloween is celebrated on a much larger scale in the US then here in Canada, "lucky you who live in the US" if this is true. Here where I live it's with out a doubt Christmas thats celebrated the most, but I it seems like Halloween is getting bigger. I've wondered if its due to how fast passed life is becoming, thus people have more stress and are therefore looking for an outlet, well regardless of the cause, I think its great! :D I'm really big into decorating my home in a mix of Gothic, Victorian, Halloween style. And also my yard. I'll enjoy meeting others here. Halloween Rules :!:
