My Haunt Ideas 2007

Post by deadbride » Wed Sep 05, 2007 11:05 pm

Well I thought I would throw my ideas out here since I have a few minutes. Since my hearse isn't finished it still has a gapping hole in the back, I thought we would back it up to a tree. Make it look like it crashed into it. Slide the casket out the back and put one of my animatronic zombies in the casket and one in the drivers seat. We have a large area behind our home with quite a few trees, so we are going to run sort of a maze style haunt this year, instead of an indoor one. Plus a friend of mine is also bringing another hearse down. His has a siren and power converter with a fog machine in it and neons. So we'll run his around the block a few times then park it in front. It will be cool. We'll make such a big hit. The kids always love our haunts, even though they don't appreciate the concepts they like being scared. Well that is all I can think of for the moment. I'll have more about the maze later when I have a chance to get my head together.

Hehe... I know I probably will never own a hearse however, I would call it a good guess that a hearse will be the last car I ride in!

Yeah Dutchess I'm back a little bit. I posted another thread about Computer Crash Medical issues. I've had a time of it. I have a major doctor appointment tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Tomorrow will tell. LOL I'm still working on ideas for the maze. :D

One of your animatronic zombies! How many of those do you have laying around? Sounds like your place is the place to be on the 31st!

I have 3 right now, but plan on getting more and also my husband will start making some pnuematics next year. With my health issues we didn't get to this year. We also have 3 other large characters. A full size hanging dracula. He usually hangs near one of the caskets. A full size 7 foot wide wingspan, 4 foot around the belly bat by Mario Chiodi. A full size 5 foot wide skeleton zombie bat. And a few other assorted full size creatures. Plus alot of fountains and strobes and blacklights and I could probably go on for an hour at least. LOL

I'll have to check these out at home, the work computer is restrictive on viewing pics; it does sound great though. :)

Dr. Strange here is a link to a few of my pics from either last year or the year before. I can't remember right now. My mind is sort of muddled, I'm in pain today I had some seizures earlier and this kidney infection is making things worse. Sorry too much info I know.

that is my gallery on haunted galleries. you should be able to access it later. There are 2 pages of pics.
