Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

I just wanted to say that I am so excited to have found this place. A friend referred me here. I have a Bed N Breakfast and every year we get more and more crazy about decorating for Halloween. My house was built in 1887, and when we built an addition on last October, right before Halloween- we dug up a tombstone of a 2 year old boy who died in 1847, we found pieces of coffins, and nails, and bones. We think our house is Haunted, and thought so even before this. The same night that we found the tombstone, a stray black cat showed up and hung out here for about a week...I was joking then that my Halloween decorations were becoming a little bit too real.

We have an annual Halloween party every year. This year we are doing a "Cemetary" theme. One year my Halloween table display made it in to the Taste of Home magazine...that's where I get alot of cool recipes from.

I can't wait to check out all the different topics on here and get to talk to people who share my love for this holiday.

Weill I'm glad you made it here spooky. I love this board better than the on we used to post on. The people here are really nice and they all love Halloween as much as we do!

Hey Blackcat....thanks for telling me about it. I probably went overboard already posting pictures, but they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words...and you know how I can write...so I probably just kept from posting 100,000 words.. Ha

I am excited to be hanging with people who share a common "Obsession"/ Love and who are "Happy" to talk about it.

Welcome, Spooky! this is a fun place, and I have gotten so many great ideas from everyone. I love the Taste of Home magazines, especially the holiday ones...awesome recipes. Your place sounds great, I'm going right now to look at your pictures!

My Table display was in the Taste of Home. I'll have to post a picture of it.

We took a sheet and covered a serving table with it...it looked like it had arms, so we made the sheet in to a ghost....and we sat trays of food on his arms, and around the front of the table...to look like he was serving everyone.
