I'va already tested all of my halloween lights, the bulbe in my artificial pumpkins, and have all my horror DVDs and VHS tapes handy. I will be putting up my decorations on the last 2 or 3 dayd of September, and I do plan to have at least one freshly carved Jack O'Lantern in my house through out the entire month of October.

My family and I are going to be having a Halloween Bonfire on September 27th. That's the only day we can get most of us together, and the weather is better. I am going to set up a bed sheat as a screan, and show "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and "Hocus Pocus" using my DLP projector and stereo system. Hopefully it won't rain.

I am undecided as to what I am going to be this year. I, of course, like the traditional Halloween monster, so I decided on either a vampire or a wearwolf, but I have not decided which as of yet. The easy part about both is that all I have to do is apply a little face make-up and a set of fangs. I don't have to rent a whole costume. I do the same thing every year. It's usualy a vampire, but some years when I had time to play around with I would be a wearwolf.

I was just writing to wish everyone a great and successful 2008. With the changes at other Halloween and Horror boards I was not able to post anything there, so I thought I would wish everyone all the best here! I look forward to seeing as many locations as possbile and talking to you guys and gals about your haunts! ;)

Good luck to everyone! :D

I have all my indoor decorations up. Been carving about 1 pumpkin a week except for this week we didn't get one. Tomorrow we're going to the pumpkin patch to get some corn stalks for our outdoor decorations and let them dry. LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of them drying in the garage!

I got a slow start because this will be the first year I'm not having a party in quite some time. I finally got my outside decorating done and am now in full spirit. I won't need a costume but am working on the kids'. My oldest is going to be a pickle with several of her friends, yes a pickle, it's not a typo!

I was actually gonna do that! Maybe next year.

I'm totally ready. We have almost all the decorations up; we just have to put up the Homer Simpson inflatable. I've had my devil costume for like 2 weeks... I just have to get a tail and maybe a few more makeup things. I've been watching Halloween cartoons/movies for like a month. I'm gonna get my pumpkin to carve in like a week or 2. I wanna go trick-or-treating like RIGHT NOW.

Costumes in process, exterior 90% decorated interior getting started. Script for murder mystery in renovations. I need to order trick or treat stuff, some make up for costume and such then I am good to go.
