Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

For me, I would like to enter the Gateway to Horror!

I don't wanna go to hell!

I know, but this is just for fun!

For example, if you choose to enter the Hell and you will see everything like haunted houses, zombies, cemetery, evil spirits, etc.

If you choose to enter the Heaven, you will only see friendly halloween people such as Snoopy Dog, The Simpsons, kids stuffs, you know?

BUT - if you decide to choose others just like you create your own Gateway To Cemetery, that would be very cool!

Heaven fo shizzle, but a gateway to others would be cool depending on what you choose.

I would not so much as want to even see into hell. And yes, I do believe it's a real place, and I am a devout Catholic. I am not trying to impose my religious beliefs on everyone else, but there's NO WAY I would ever want anything to do with hell or satan. Just like ouije boards and seances. I avoid them like the plague, because those are the means that evil spirits can cross over to us.

This will be my very last post on the subject as I don't want to risk turning this into a discussion of religion.

It's not just fire you would have to deal with in hell. You have various types of vermin nahging on you, wasps stinging you, snakes biting you, demons tormenting you, worms everywhere you look, the horrors of hell are said to be indescribable to those who have actualy seen visions of it. I don't even like to think about it.

Well . . . What would hell be like? Would it be all fire and brimstone or like that one episode of The Twilight Zone where the robber gets shot and ends up in posh digs where there is an endless supply of hot women and he never looses at craps??? Does anyone know what I am talking about?

CryptKeeper, I've never been there, but I've read accounts of various saints who have had visions of hell and of the souls who are tormented there for all eternity, and the horrors they describe, and I don't like to even fathem the thought of ending up there.

SpookShadow, I do remember that "Twighlight Zone" episode you mentioned, and while it may make for intersting tv entertainment, it in no way represents the reality of eternal punishment in hell. Hell is a perfect world of evil. Absoultely no good can exist in hell, and once a soul ends up there. nothing good can ever hapen to that person ever again. There are no "hot babes," no posh rooms, no money, no cars, there's nothing but ever lasting horror, misery, pain and sorrow.

I realize this is not a religious forum, and I am not trying to preach a sermon here, but I do believe that people in general have no idea what they are getting themselvs into when they start talking about hell being the "party hearty" place, or a bastion of beautiful babes, fast cars, etc. It's nothing of the sort.

All I'm saying is that I would NEVER want to go there. But then again, we don't REALLY know if there is a Heaven or Hell because none of us have any recollection of being there. I do believe in reincarnation but we don't know in our conscious minds where we have been. We could all go live on another planet with all the other people that have died for all we know. Marilyn Monroe and Elvis could be living on Saturn....we just don't know until we actually pass. I don't think we die, we move on.
