Hi Folks:

I just thought I would mention that Friday February 13th, Little Halloween, is a little over a month away, and I plan to celebrate by catchint the release of "Friday the 13th."

How many of you plan to see that movie on Feb 13th?

Why don't we all go to the theater as a group to see it?

I wish we would do that - but we all live far away from each other. :D

And, I do wish someone would send me a FREE ticket to see FRIDAY THE 13TH! ;) Well... I got to pay ticket plus popcorn and drink too! :o

That would be a fun thing to do, but as HauntMaster pointed out, we all live in different parts of the country and even world. I live in Dwight Illinois, and I plan to see "Friday the 13th" at the Morris Cinema when it's released PROVIDED there isn't 10 feet of snow on the ground and the roads are inpassible. That happens a lot in Illinois during the Winter months. Travel is very difficult when we have a major snow storm.

If anyone here on this forum lives near Morriss Illinois, I would be more then happy to do a group gathering of some sort, but again, we must keep in mind that it is Winter. The Morris Cinema is roughly 20 miles from my house, and even 20 miles is not a good idea to drive if we're in the throws of a major blizzard. On the other hand, if it's clear and the roads are in good shape, it would be a fun thing to do, sort of a little taste of the 09 Halloween season to come.

Just a little side note here, on Friday March 13th, which is tne next time Friday is on the 13th of the month after February, I am going to Windsor Canada. So I'm going to be spending that "little Halloween" behind the wheel of my car driving.

I can't wait either to see it plus I think Horror fest is coming up too, but that is for another time. I will probably put up a couple of halloween decorations watch a load of scary movies buy some candy. And I will do the same next month, Plus sci-fi is probably going to have Friday the 13th of ghost hunters in an all day marathon. Plus next month is going to be great Cause March 14th is my birthday. And Its like I get to good days in March. Then I think the last one is in November.

I'll do something for Mini Halloween. Maybe set up little Halloween decorations around the house (I parents must really think I'm weird when I do this in the summer. I do it because I'm always bored. ) and watch the original Friday The 13 movies. I don't care to see the remake.

I know I will have to work that day, but my husband and I are defently going to go see it when i get off work! We met Derek Meers at HorrorHound last year, and he was one of the coolest actors we've ever met... and he LOVES his fans!

Cool pic yeah I wish I could ever get the time and money to go to conventions and other things. But I have my own lawn care business and it is fun but it does keep me tied up.

Well, it depends on where it is, (we go to Fangoria, HorrorHound, FlashBack, and ScreamFest...all around the country) but its the same basic makeup. Tickets to get in are usally around $20-$25, and there many random Horror, and Halloween vendors selling their wares. There's usally somewhere between 15-30 actors signing autographs, which cost anywhere from Free to $25 a signature. If the do a movie reunion (They've had Night of the Living Dead, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street to name a few) they will have panels set up, and you can listen to them talk about the movie, as well as ask them questions. We average about $300-$500 depending on the Convention. If I remember correctly, Derek charged $20, but he'd sign mutiple things.

Well folks, it's only a week away. I am going to be having a very busy work day on the 13th, but after work, I am going to start the festivities with one of my Halloween themed music CDs, and then I am going to the very latest screaning of "Friday the 13th" at my favorite movie theatre.

On March 13th I am taking a road trip, so I won't be doing to much 'mini Halloween' activities other then listening to a couple of my Halloween theme music CDs. I may take in a horror movie if I can fine one in Windsor Canada, but it's a 5 hour drive from where I live, and I've never been to Windsor before, so I don't know where the movie theatres are or what will be playing at them.
