End August!

August just seems to be the longest month, it seriously never seems to end!!! I want to go into the stores and see all the HAlloween stuff out..which here is usually very early September. It feels like it has been August forever!!! Also very hot out still. In the upper 80's..ugh. I want to feel the fall chill! Luckily here in B.C. we usually get chilly weather in Early to mid September.
But ya...END ALREADY AUGUST !!

It is really going by fast for me too...but the weather shows no signs of cooling anytime soon. Today it was 106. *puke*

August has seemed very drawn out this year, but I'm not complaining because I do not want to rush time or wish my life away so I try to enjoy and make the most of everyday. The weather here in VA is still pretty hot but even worse, very humid! The heavy humidity should go away in mid to late September so I'm excited for that.

The whole Summer has been a bit of a bummer (pardon the rhym) because of all the health problems I've been having. August is one of my favorite months for motorcycle riding, but it's also when we go back on our regular 8 hour-5 day work week, and that's the first "death blow" to the Summer.
But to tell you the truth, I'm sort of glad to see Summer end this year, despite that I had a great 4th of July and a great beach vacation. I just hope that this Fall will be a lot better.

This summer has actually been very mild so far here in southern Indiana.
There have been many days when the temperature didn't even cross into the eighties. This week has been warmer, but that's about to change. I actually don't mind if things slow down a bit at this point. We don't want the season to come and go that quickly.

I can't wait for August to end either! It is so hot here, over 100 degrees. I want to be able to open my windows and let the Fall air in finally!

August is going quick these day. maybe because you are not keeping you're self busy. if you keep your're self busy it will go quick.

That's what really bummed me out the most about this Summer, Shanhain. Weather wise, this has been the best Summer of my life, but unfortunately I had to spend most of it in the Hospital. In june it was Gastric Bypass surgery, in July it was Gout and in August it was Gout. It's been cool and try through pretty much all of June and July, and it never went over 86 degrees in August so far, and with only one week to go, I doubt it will.
I do plan to spend a good part of this weekend on the bike, but I'm still not totaly out of the woods with my gout, so I can't really tell for sure.
If next Summer could be like this Summer was, and I'm healthy, that would be great, but I doubt that's going to happen.

I can count on one hand how many days we have had temps passed 90 degrees.
My bed still has a comforter on it and I ran the furnace last night.
I agree about the august month of August though, it seems to go on and on and on...

I agree I can't wait until Spirit Halloween opens. Hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks.
