double deuce for me 22
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

My age is a riddle.

It's the answer to the question of 'Life, the Universe; everything!'
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I don't think Halloween will ever die in my life time, unless we were to get a mandate by the government mandating it. But then again, that's not so far fetched when you look at all the 'political correctness' that's being indoctrinated into our school students now a days. In the college where I work, it's actualy against the rules to use the expression "Merry Christmas." I use it anyway in December, and if some one decides to be offended by it, that's their problem.

It's the same with Halloween. I've celebrated Halloween all of my life. I REFUSE to give it up because one or two people might be offended. If they decide to get offended, that's their problem.

Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

The quantity of three score divided by two, minus two for 6 months more.
