Boo! your neighbors
....
Ever do this? I heard about it on the radio a few years ago.
You find some images of ghosts which you can print and cutout, then pick 2 neighbors and leave some treats on each of their porches along with the ghost cutout and a poem that says they now need to Boo! 2 other neighbors. Ring the doorbell and run. They're sposed to hang the ghost image on their door to show they've already been booed.
Methinks such a thing should be started on October 1st to usher in the month of Hallowe'en. See how many houses in your neighborhood get hit by the 31st.
Or you could be a bit more mischievous like me and do the Flaming Bag of Poo thing

General Dollar sales "you've just been booed" sacks now
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: Boo! your neighbors
My neighborhood used to "boo" each other starting around the first of October. It was so much fun being surprised with a a little bag or bucket of Halloween goodies. Its a great way to keep Halloween spirit alive in your area. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, my neighborhood stopped "booing" each other. If things go to plan, I think I am going to respark the Halloween spirit and start the booing once again.

Re: Boo! your neighbors
Good for you! It should bring a lot of spirit to your neighborhood and that is always great. I think I'll start mine around October 1 so that way most of the houses in my neighborhood will be "boo'd" and the spirit will be shared to everyone.adrian wrote:MyersFan1 wrote:My neighborhood used to "boo" each other starting around the first of October.
