Zombie Walks?

Post by WitchyMama » Fri Sep 18, 2009 2:32 pm

Are any of you doing Zombie Walks??

Our city has done what they can to make it to where the production crew can't put it on. I guess their pissy last year that it coincided with Sarah Palin's visit...several zombies hung out and protested her. That's what I get for living in a red state I guess, lol!

Anywho, you can go to zombiewalk.com and look in the forums for your state (I don't know if they do anything outside of US...I think they do though) and see what the closest one is. I had A LOT of fun last year. The production crew is asking for everyone involved last year to show up downtown in zombie gear and just hang out all night. So not a formal walk but we still will have fun.

this sounds like a lot of fun :) our town doesn't do this nor have i heard of it :) i would like to start something like this here
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I love the Zombie Walks :D I've been to two in Adelaide. There's usually quite a few zombies and they go down the streets of the city causing mayhem. Last year was great because it was on the same night as the Tim Burton themed Halloween night at the goth club so a lot of zombies ended up there afterwards. Zombies partying with characters like Sweeney Todd, Beetlejuice and Jack Skellington :) I'll be going to the next one when it happens in early October.
