Well it's only 8:50pm But it's started pouring it down with rain and i have had NO Trick or Treaters... Not one!
And by the sound and sight of the rain, there wont be one.
Any idea's on what to do?
Have a Good Halloween guys and gals. Hope it's more successful than mine

I'd just invite some friends over to watch a scary movie, unless there is anything better to do where you live

being 15 changes things, go scare some kids while you're young enough to enjoy it!
I still scare kids, but sometimes I feel bad

I don't feel it this year, I think because it's Sunday.
The best I can muster is a nice 'autumn' mood. The weather is crisp and bright and the trees in the garden are almost at their peak color.
One of the bobcats was out hunting and I managed to get a couple of shots of it. The vantage point was from the upstairs with full zoom. Even though it was about a football field away and down the hill, it knew I was there.

it would kind of suck to get mauled by a bob cat while admiring the trees

We only had 6 Trick ot treaters, and my youngest went out with all her friends to a different subdivision, bummer, huh!!! We even had great weather 60 degrees, but no one had there lights on in our Court except us, GGRRRR!!!! I miss all the kids & the neighborhood parties we use to have, that group of people all moved.

I don't think a bob cot is big enough to actualy maul anyone, but they can sure claw the daylights out of you.
As for Halloween, I am feeling a bit bumed out, too. The police were very strictly enforcing the ToT time limit. 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. No exceptions, and no excuses. To boot, they evend rove around in their cop cars, announcing through the P.A. that Trick or Treat was over, go home or get a ticket. That really bites. I guess it's a sign of the times. Tradition once again gets shoved aside for the sake of fear mongering and "new fangled" ideias.

At least it was only raining... my house was visited by influenza this Halloween... but, it kinda fits with the whole "2010 sucks" motif I have going. Why spoil a good thing?
Actually, we made the best of it and it wasn't horrible. Wasn't what we'd planned, but it was nice. =)

I'm sorry so many folks had disappointing times. Tell you what; next year, everybody's invited over to mine. We'll haunt the graveyard, then party so hard it'll take three hundred and sixty four days to recover! Then I'll see you all again on Halloween 2012!!!
Um....Jadewik? You're invited, but you can leave the influenza behind.

That's out of line. Sounds like more gang-mentality, not "protect and serve". They must have missed the memo - this country doesn't operate under Martial Law.
