‘Vampire Grave’ Discovered at Polish Construction Site

Post by NeverMore » Wed Jul 17, 2013 11:44 am

OK. Forget about cremation. This is how I want to be buried, just to mess with future archeologists.

That was creepy but no suprise. All of Eastern Europe was rife with all kinds of vampire lor. The scary part is that could have been a living person when they decapitated him.

The company I work for occasionally unearths forgotten burial sites and you have to call forensics people to deal with it.

Nothing as cool as vampires though.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Andy, you should 'plant' a human skeleton with four arms or something weird like that. Imagine their initial surprise when they dig it up?

That would be a very interesting Halloween prank, but I would advise getting a really well made plastic skeleton, not the 'real McCoy,' because that might get you in a tad of trouble.

I kept thinking I'd seen this before, but then I remembered it was a skull found in Italy.

Here's the story of the Italian skull on YouTube:

WOW! That is creepy. The Black Plague claimed a lot of lives, and I guess vampirism was the only explanation that the people of the time understood.
