Another idea I found on Facebook. Thought this was a cool original way to carve a jack o lantern. :)

I thought so too. :) It's amazing how much artistic potential there is with pumpkins. I just wish there was a way to preserve it, especially if you spend a lot of time and energy on it, it's a shame once it rots away.
Then again I tend to get really attached to a lot of my art. I have paintings and such I am going to sell, but part of me just wants to keep them all for myself.
I'd love to be able to freeze dry them or something. Especially a piece like this that's so original. Kind of inspires me for all the potential possibilities that will come this year when it's pumpkin carving time again. We never even got around to carving ours last year. I've got plenty of time to brain storm right now but the problem is if I focus too much on Halloween the year will probably just fly on by again.

I looked back at the thread where Andy carved a jack be little and it gave me an idea...why not make a little pumpkin faerie village and put a pumpkin carved tea light inside a pumpkin and maybe fashion it into a little house..?
